Grace Gardens San Angelo

Nurturing all abilities in nature.

At Grace Gardens, it’s our mission to cultivate a welcoming, inclusive gardening space where people of all ages and abilities can grow, thrive, and experience the joy and therapeutic benefits of gardening.

Our Purpose

Grace Gardens is a non-profit dedicated to creating an inclusive and accessible gardening space in San Angelo, Texas, where people of all ages and abilities—especially children and adults with disabilities—can fully participate in gardening and reap its profound benefits.

Historically, meaningful activities for individuals with special needs have been limited in our community. Grace Gardens addresses this gap by providing a sheltered, adapted environment that removes barriers.

These accommodations enhance engagement and success, enabling every participant to contribute at their own level.

Beyond growing plants, the garden serves as a powerful space to learn and practice essential life skills like caring for living things, following instructions, problem-solving, and goal-setting.

Research-backed therapeutic benefits include:

  • increased energy and strength
  • improved self-esteem and confidence
  • enhanced mental focus
  • better communication skills
  • opportunities to build friendships and relationships
  • overall higher quality of life

Grace Gardens exists to make these opportunities accessible to people of all ages, fostering growth, connection, well-being, and joy for our entire community.

An Inclusive Place For All
